Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM 87107

Saturday, November 10th from 9 am to 3 pm &

Sunday, November 11th from 10 until 2

Bibliophiles and collectors of New Mexican artists won't want to miss this sale. We're featuring an amazing library full of rare and unusual books- (sorry, folks, the first editions of Kerouac's "On the Road," & Verve's "The Last Works of Henri Matisse" will not be available - the owners changed their minds). However, we still have "Andy Wharhol's Index (book)" and countless other fabulous books. The collection of photography books is comprehensive - at one point, the largest in the state. There are many titles on Fashion, Art, Vintage Children's & Cartoon Books, Cinema, Pop-up books and lots more.

Featured art includes a large mermaid mosaic by Wilcke Smith & another more traditional mosaic by Toni Aaron. Other notable artwork includes original pieces by RC Gorman and Arthur Sussman. There are pieces from their personal collection, many dating from the '60's & 70's- folk art, signed paintings, photographs, lithographs and prints in a variety of styles. The pottery available ranges from artisan functional stoneware to high art decor. Naturally, we are featuring some of Louise's dolls & sculptures and many serigraphs, photographs and prints by Joe. Let the buyer beware that if you are offended by portrayals of the nude human figure, this sale may not be a great fit (or maybe just leave the kiddos at home).

Other notable items include equipment for a complete dark room, several cameras including a vintage, working Linhof Technika Field Camera, 3D film camera, lots of lenses, flash equipment, a custom light box, slide viewing table & much more! Be sure to check out the antique cage doll, an intricate Victorian style doll house and mannequin. We're also selling a collection of vintage pill boxes, dolls, collectibles, clothing, shoes & purses, great kitchen items, everyday household & garage items.
Cross streets are Guadalupe Trail & Los Ranchos Rd- this home is down a gravel road. Please drive with care & do not block neighboring driveways. Plan to bring your own help to move furniture and large items. Cash and cards are accepted.
